I bought a fridge that did not work and on day two when all was defrosted from freezer I called store and they said they would repair. I said absolutely not,I didn't pay for refurbished, open box fridge but a brand new one ,I want it replaced. 3 1/2 hrs later on hold 3 times for 45 min each time, sometimes being transferred to LG repair ,I finally talk to John at Wilmington Brandywine del. Store.I was annoyed at the amount of time on hold ,he said that was my choice...I didn't want callback. I had waited for callback.!!..1 1/2 hrs and it was getting to be evening and my food was out in the snow on my back porch to keep it cold( and they knew this and should of made a manager available) so I chose to call again and wait on hold. At this point I knew I was getting royal run around. Then I argued with John about repair vs replace. At one point when he said it's policy, they have to repair if they deem it can be, I yelled NO! And he yelled YES! And boom transferred me to LG repair again! So rude and unprofessional. I ended up getting my new fridge only because I had the time that nite to wait it out on hold. I'm sure most people with young families don't and I'm sure they count on people giving in to get repair instead of replace. I contacted company in Email and was told it was forwarded to management and someone would get back to me but no and it's been 3 wks. ...this leads me to believe the company supports this kind of treatment in managers like John especially if it means they can repair Instead of replace,probably more cost effective for them.
