MYI - LG front loader washer


I bought an LG frontload washer from hhgregg in 2005. It broke in September 2009 while still under the extended warranty. hhgregg's repair service has been to my house 4 times and has been unable to fix it. (They give you an appointment time from 8am-5pm. So, it takes an entire day every time you have to deal with this.) It has a "bad board" and the new ones do not fit this washer. I spoke to customer service at least 5 times. Different reps tell me I have to get approval from another department (customer affairs, I believe). I was then transferred and placed on hold for 30min. After going through this 4 times, I went to the local hhgregg store to speak to the manager. He was very nice but doesn't have the authority to replace my washer. It has been over 20 days now and I am spending a considerable amount of time and money at the laundromat with no solution in sight. I will never purchase another product from hhgregg.

Under the current warranty rules, the 4th time they were out there they should have taken back the product and switched it out for the new one, you never lose value of the product with that warranty so if it's still valid ask to see that service plan in writing and show it to them they won't have a choice then.
