Delivery men refused to install W/D, Dryer defective - getting the run around for 2.5 weeks. - Samsung 5400 Steam washer and dryer set


Purchased Samsung W/D set 8/24. Dlvd 8/26. Delivery refused to level, install or test machines. Called Jeanette in delivery while they were still here. She offered a 100 credit on my acct. for the trouble. 5 calls and 2.5 weeks later - still no credit, even though she keeps promising. Also, Dryer making a loud rattling noise and vibrating horribly. Coming from inside the bottom of unit. Called store 9/5 to get a replacement. Spoke to Alex. He told me we would get replacement 9/15. Get delivery confirm call on 9/14. 2 hours later, I get a phone call from Christy. She tells me that they cannot deliver my new machine on 9/15 and she does not know what the new delivery date will be, as the dryer is out of stock. Tells me I can have their model for 40.00 off!!! NO. I paid good money for a NEW machine that should WORK well. So, here I sit with a defective dryer and no credit. I want my NEW machine and I want my promised $100 credit for the non install. I spoke with Brandon on 9/15 after the conversation with Christy- he was very unhelpful and condescending- he actually said that they did not have to install unless we buy hoses from HHGregg -the SAMSUNG machines CAME with hoses!! OUr paperwork says that they would install. IS our only option boycott HHgregg and return the set??? This is not the only problems that we have had there. We bought our new tv there a few months ago. It was an open box and the salesperson told us that it was all there. That someone had bought it, and brought it back in a few hours because it was too large. Brought it home and opened the box and it was MISSING the stand and the hardware was just thrown in. We had to rebox it and drive all the way back to the store to exchange it. Also, the salesperson assured us that we could purchase a keyboard from Samsung for it because it is a smart tv. Lo and behold, he did not know what he was talking about because a week later, after it was hung, we called Samsung and found out that NO, you cannot use a keyboard for this model tv. AGH. This store has way too many managers and not enough good customer service. At this point, it is all about the sale and customer service ends when you walk out of the front door. We have been trying to resolve the washer and dryer issue since delivery day - 9/26/14. We cannot even get the name of the REAL manager of the store from any of the employees. Beware of the North Charleston SC store.
